FARS Grade Sessions
Our FARS grade sessions are on Mondays 5pm-6pm, £3
(Grades 1-4). They follow the Federation of Artistic Roller Skating skill
levels. Grade 1 requirements start from skating and stopping without falling over and progress through to Grade 6 which involves some basic jumps, spin, etc. On Mondays, each grade has its own section of the rink and an instructor to explain what is required at that level. The onus is on the individual to practice (and practice!) this until the instructor feels they are able to grade. The judge will then come and assess their ability and if they pass they can move onto the next grade, and get the relevant grade badge! Grade 5 & 6 are held on Thursdays 4pm-5pm, alongside RetroSkate GY Artistic Roller Skating Club's sessions
Coaching Course
Suitable for all ages. Learn the basic skills such as starting and stopping, forward and backward, co-ordination, cornering, jumps and turns on our 6 week coaching course for £30. It is by application, which is available on our website. Group sizes are kept small and the tuition is very much tailored to what the individuals require. All Classes and Lessons are conducted by our Professional Fully Qualified Coaches. Once we have received your completed form we will contact you and advise of course start date. Skaters may attend the FARS grade session either leading up to the commencement of the coaching course or once they have begun.
